2nd ANNOUNCEMENT
We are delighted to invite you to participate in the activities of the Week of Sound – Portugal 2025, taking place from February 16th to 21st, 2026, featuring the International Conference and the Music Performance.
The International Conference will be held on the afternoon of February 20th, 2026, at the Belém Cultural Center (CCB) in Lisbon. The Music Performance, closing the event, will take place on the afternoon of February 21st at the Capitólio Theater, also in Lisbon.
The Week of Sound is organized in collaboration with UNESCO and the global initiative La Semaine du Son. In Portugal, it is promoted by the OUVIR Association, aiming to raise awareness about Hearing Health and the Inclusion of People with Hearing Disabilities.
The International Conference will include lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, providing a privileged platform for specialists, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and discuss solutions to promote accessibility and auditory well-being.
In addition to the events in Lisbon, local initiatives will take place on:
February 16th in Braga,
February 18th in Porto,
February 19th in Coimbra.
